M Comfort – The Flat Porcelain Bowl for Brachycephalic and Smaller Dogs

Not every dog gets along well with a deep food bowl. Short snouts, older age, or reduced tongue mobility can make eating from a deep bowl increasingly difficult. That's exactly why we developed our dogBar® M Comfort: a shallow porcelain bowl that makes feeding easier for many dogs.

Not just for pugs and other short-nosed breeds

The M Comfort is especially suitable for dogs with short snouts, such as pugs or French bulldogs. Its shallow depth means they don't have to push their noses far into the bowl and can reach their food more easily.

But the shallow bowl is by no means only for short-nosed breeds. Older dogs also often appreciate the comfortable shape. If the tongue is not as mobile as it used to be or picking up food becomes more difficult, a shallow bowl can be a real relief. The food is more accessible, and the dog has to exert less effort when eating.

Shallow shape yet sufficient volume

With a volume of 600 ml, the M Comfort offers ample space for the food portions of many small and medium-sized dogs. It has the same diameter as our proven M Standard porcelain bowl but is significantly shallower with a depth of only about 4 cm.

This closes the gap between our smaller S bowl and the deeper M Standard bowl. It is ideal for all dogs for whom the S bowl is too small but the M Standard bowl is too deep.

Combine shallow and deep bowls

Many dog owners deliberately choose a combination of a shallow and a deep bowl. For example, the M Comfort can be used for food and the M Standard for water.

Of course, the best arrangement depends on the dog's individual preferences. Some dogs prefer to drink from the shallow Comfort bowl, while the deeper Standard bowl is good for food. Therefore, you can freely combine both bowl variants and assemble your dogBar® to perfectly suit your dog.
